Taryn Goodwin, M.Ed., BCBA
Taryn Goodwin, M.Ed, BCBA is a Training Associate for Virginia Commonwealth University – Autism Center for Excellence (VCU-ACE). As Training Associate, she develops, implements, and facilitates web-based training directed by state-wide initiatives. Taryn received her Master’s Degree from James Madison University in Special Education. In January 2011, she received her certification as a Behavior Analyst. Taryn has 7 years of experience working with individuals with ASD from preschool to adulthood. Prior to ACE, Taryn worked as an Outreach Program Coordinator across 3 localities in the Shenandoah Valley. In this role, she collaborated with various agencies, provided consultative and outreach services, and trained regional staff. In the area of training, Taryn specializes in communication strategies, instructional strategies, and proactive behavioral strategies.
